Case 1: Company A

Company A produces industrial materials and was seeking additional opportunities in the craft and handmade goods market.
PLUS + i found value in the company’s high-quality industrial oil. PLUS + i proposed using the oil as part of an artwork called Herbariums. Herbariums are decorative glass bottles that preserve the natural color and shape of fresh florals. The artwork features artistically placed florals arranged and suspended in mineral oil. The oil was able to be applied to this particular artform.
PLUS + i suggested new product packaging with a user friendly design and size for craft applications. Company A successfully launched a new product for “Herbarium” artwork.
Case 2: Collaboration with city B in Okayama

City B was looking to promote XX Winery, featuring a botanical garden and winery.
PLUS + i discovered the glass bottles used at the winery were suitable for Herbarium projects. Plus + i proposed a workshop hosted at the winery that would attract new customers to the botanical garden and winery.
XX The winery successfully hosted Herbarium workshops, while Plus + i was able to supply high quality, certified instructors to lead each workshop.

About Founder Hiroe Watanabe
Hiroe Watanabe was born in Okayama. After college, Hiroe worked for an international airline company in the Kansai Region. After getting married and having children, Hiroe was introduced to Porcelarts and Resin Clay Art. As she advanced her skills, she grew interested in spreading her passion and enjoyment for these art forms to others. For over a decade, she has been arranging flowers and creating interior decors incorporating various materials using newly acquired skills.
In 2015, Hiroe moved back to Okayama where she opened a home-based art studio. Two years later, she had the privilege of opening a studio, LA PETITE FLEUR and began offering Instructor Certification Courses. The courses were successful and quickly exceeded 100 students.
These experiences awakened her senses and led to Plus + i where she captures the desire of both the customer and business owner. PLUS + i was started with a desire to increase customer value while creating events that capture the craft and art forms of her other company, LA PETITE FLEUR.
It is Hiroe’s passion to cultivate global friendship. Based on her experience living abroad, she has been supporting Okayama tourism through coordinating events and workshops to attract overseas tourists and revitalize small towns within the prefecture.
